Gumball reads from a book and says that cutting off Leslie's head will help his wilting. They spray Leslie with parasite spray, thanks to which he starts hallucinating. They try to water Leslie, but that doesn't help either. Leslie tans for a bit, and eventually catches fire, which makes him look worse than before. Gumball reads it a bit, and discovers that sun would probably help. Gumball eats a book to try to get smart to no avail. In science, Darwin tries to find something to help Leslie, but he gets nothing. Later, Gumball uses Aloe vera on Leslie’s face, but Leslie freaks out as Aloe vera comes from a plant. He cries on a bench in the park and suddenly gets arrested for looking ugly. Penny says the frat-guy effect makes boys looks uglier in groups. On the track, Gumball says the cheerleader effect will help him look pretty because girls look prettier in groups. They try to accessorize Leslie to make him look better, but Leslie has trouble breathing with all the clothes on him. Gumball and Darwin unsuccessfully try to cheer him up. Leslie says that he is getting uglier because his petals are falling off.
When Leslie looks over, his face is horrendously ugly and wrinkled, much to the horror of Gumball and Darwin. They find him in there, covering his face as he cries.
Darwin sees a bunch of petals scattered on the floor, leading Gumball (in a complicated way) to figure out they are from Leslie, and he is in the dressing room. He comments on Leslie’s recent high fashion phase shown in a montage after he mistakes a trash can with junk on top of it for Leslie.
Darwin says Leslie is the fashion police, and that only he can judge him. Gumball in return insults Darwin’s sandals, saying he looks like he is about to walk on water. Darwin gets his attention from behind him, claiming he does not want to be seen with him due to him wearing parachute pants. The episode begins with Gumball walking down the hall.
